KATALOG - Journal of Photography & Video

Founded in 1988, KATALOG is the longest standing Scandinavian journal for art photography. As a bi-lingual magazine with texts in English and one of the three Scandinavian languages it connects the Nordic art scene with the rest of the world and vice versa. Two issues of 100 pages are published yearly with in-depth articles on contemporary art photography and photographers, portfolio presentations, debates, reviews of exhibitions and books. 

Peter Lav Gallery

Inaugurated in January 2006, Peter Lav Gallery is a relatively new gallery. Our focus is on contemporary art photography and the gallery sees it as its task to promote and further the careers of younger, emerging artists that explore the boundaries of the photographic media. Peter Lav Gallery is the first gallery in Copenhagen which focuses exclusively on contemporary photography. All artists represented by Peter Lav Gallery have previously had had their work shown in galleries, museums and exhibitions in Scandinavia and throughout Europe.

Martin Asbaek Gallery

Martin Asbaek Gallery was established in 2005 in the heart of Copenhagen. The gallery has since its establishment focused on contemporary Scandinavian as well as international art and represents several renowned European artists working in a wide range of media. The gallery also specialises in photography of acclaimed artists such as Trine Søndergaard, Astrid Kruse Jensen, Nicolai Howalt, Ebbe Stub Wittrup and Elina Brotherus.

Galleri Tom Christoffersen

Galleri Tom Christoffersen is a gallery of contemporary art established by Tom Christoffersen in 2002. The gallery, located in the centre of Copenhagen, represents both emerging and established Danish and international artists.

Galleri KANT

Galleri KANT was started as a project space in 2008 and established as an emerging contemporary gallery in 2010 by Kerry Harm Nielsen & Anna Gram Sørensen. The gallery´s primary emphasis is on presenting international artists from Scandinavia and Europe engaged with both conceptually driven and figurative practices expressed through diverse media. Galleri KANT presents an annual program of 6-8 exhibitions in the main gallery and 4-6 exhibitions in the adjoining project space/showroom.
