Robert Voit

Robert Voit (b. 1969, Germany) attended the Art Academy in Munich (1998-2001) and the Art Academy in Dusseldorf (2001-2005), where he studied under the guidance of Thomas Ruff. Voit is best known for his work ‘New Trees’, large-scale photographs of mobile radio antennas around the world, disguised as trees of different shapes and sizes. The imitation of nature is also the subject in his work 'The Alphabet of New Plants' (2014), where he provides an archive of artificial plants, produced for decorative purposes.
