Ricardo Cases was born in Spain in 1971. He lives and works between Madrid and Valencia. He has a Degree in Journalism from the University of The Basque Country. In 2006, he joined the Blank Paper Photography Collective.
He has participated in over 60 personal or collective exhibitions in such places as Centro de Arte de Alcobendas (Spain, 2106), Le Bal (Paris, 2015), IMA (Tokyo, 2015). He has published 6 books to this day.
“His photographic work focuses on the yearnings of the human being: the deep and universal longings of the citizen of the mass society, fighting against banality in an effort to transcend it, confronting his own dignity with a medium always untrustworthy.
