Nicholas Hughes (b.1963) is a British landscape photographer. Working in an abstract mode, his practice seeks to explore the essence of the human spirit and its relationship with nature. Hughes studied at the London College of Communication (BA, MA). His work has been exhibited widely and his work is held in a variety of photographic collections worldwide including the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), Museum of Fine Arts (Houston) and the Ghana Art Center (Seoul). He has also been featured in numerous publications, including Hotshoe International and the British Journal of Photography.
