Jesus Madriñán (b. 1984, Spain) holds a Master's degree in photography from Central Saint Martins, University of Art in London. Inspired by his own life experiences and surroundings, the artist's creations arouse from the need to articulate ideas and reflections that bombard him in ordinary and apparently anodyne situations. His current experiments on studio photography techniques are an attempt to exceed tradional parametres and explore the thin line that separates fiction from reality. His work nourishes itself from the paradox that arouses when adopting foreseeable and meticulous techniques to handle inexorably spontaneous and hard to grasp situations.
