Ishibashi's work is based on photography and he mainly uses collage techniques. His artistic research is about the ambiguity of the human way of seeing images in this digital era, by using anonymous images such as found photographs, postcards from flee markets, internet images and even Google street views. He seamlessly combines fragments from all these materials, creating a new entity that exists somewhere between reality and imagination.
