Mohammed Hassanzadeh (IR, 1980) is a graduate of Tehran University’s College of Fine Arts, and Ahmad Moradi (IR, 1985) is a PhD candidate of social anthropology with an emphasis on visual media at Manchester University. They are from the southern oil-rich region of Iran which has undergone many struggles over the past couple of centuries brought about by the foreign interference and exploitation by world powers. They work as a duo concentrating on themes of colonialism, oil and the refugees crisis.
