Filip Dujardin (b. 1971, Belgium) lives and works in Ghent, Belgium. He started out as a documentary photographer, working for architects. Between 1998 and 2000 Dujardin worked as a technical assistant to photographer Carl Dekeyzer, while also developing his own art. Dujardin is known for his ‘virtual architecture’: digital collages which challenge the laws of physics, but also our perceptions of living and building. Dujardin’s work is included in the collections of the MOMA, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Bozar.
