Alessandro Sambini (IT, 1982) lives and works in Milan. After earning a BA in Design and Arts from the Free University of Bolzano, Italy, and a MA in Research Architecture within the Visual Cultures department from the Goldsmiths’ College, London, he moved to Milan. Here he started working with photography, video and other media, reflecting on the modalities that govern the production of new images, their circulation and distribution, and the relationship between the spectacle and its audience.
In 2017 he took part in Fuocoapaesaggio, an exhibition curated by Dolomiti Contemporanee, and he was selected to participate to Plat(t)form 2017 at Fotomuseum Winterthur (CH). He has collaborated with various institutions, including MUSEION, FORMA, MUFOCO, MAST, MA*GA and Triennale di Milano.
