Winner ING Unseen Instagram Competition

by Unseen December 15 2016

Photography lovers and enthusiastic Instagrammers were called on to submit their interpretation of the 2016 ING Unseen Talent Award theme Fool for Love on Instagram. After 14 days and 450 submissions to the ING Unseen Instagram Competition, we are excited to announce the winner.

Earlier this week the ING Unseen Instagram Competition closed with 450 submissions. Jury members Sanne ten Brink (Head Curator, ING Collection) and Emilia van Lynden (Head of Artistic Affairs, Unseen) were asked to select the photograph that best interpreted the 2016 ING Unseen Talent Award theme Fool for Love. The winning photograph was submitted by London-based visual artist, photographer and director Emily Cole (@__emcole__) as it “dealt with the theme in a very playful and humorous manner.” According to the jury, “the image was both striking and amusing.”

Notable mentions include:

Second place @marirettore.jog
Fourth place @david_ablehams)
