Since its inauguration in January 2006, Peter Lav Gallery has focused on contemporary art photography. The gallery sees to promote and further the careers of young, emerging artists that explore the boundaries of the photographic media. Artists represented by the gallery have previously had had their work shown in galleries, museums and exhibitions in Scandinavia and throughout Europe.

At Unseen, Peter Lav Gallery will represent Danish artist Adam Jeppesen (1978) and Swiss photography duo Taiyo Onorato (1979) and Nico Krebs (1979). Taiyo Onorato & Nico Krebs have been working together since 2003 and have been featured in selected group and solo exhibitions around the world, from Krakow to San Francisco to Melbourne. Opening today, Thursday 7 June, at 5.30pm is the exhibition Taiyo Onorato & Nico Krebs: Light of Other Days at Foam (Keizersgracht 609). In the exhibition, the duo "creates their own complete universe in which object and representation clash with each other."

Currently on display at the gallery is the exhibition Jakob Hunosøe: Out of Order (until 23 June). In this exhibition, Danish artist Jakob Hunosøe’s (1975) works unfold "between sculpture and photography – between the physical and the transient... In his pictures, the everyday world of objects is put together in unusual constellations."

Peter Lav Gallery is located on Esplanaden 8D in Copenhagen, and is open Wednesday to Friday from 12-5pm and Saturday from 12-3pm.
