M97 now represents over thirty established and emerging Chinese and international artists. A perfect fit with our mission to bring forth not only known photographers exhibiting new work but young photographic talent to be shown for the first time. At Unseen, m97 will be representing four Chinese photographers: Luo Dan (1968), Huang Xiaoliang (1985), Jiang Zhi(1971) and Chen Chunlin (1970).
Currently on display at the m97 Gallery is the exhibition Hokkaido to Huangshan, a selection of recent gelatin photographs by internationally acclaimed photographer Michael Kenna (1953). Michael Kenna is known for his black-and-white landscape photographs, and his work has displayed in more than 600 exhibitions and museums around the world. This exhibition is on display until 29 April.
