Located in the Paris neighbourhood of the Marais, walking distance from the national museum of modern art, the Centre Pompidou, is GVQ - Galerie Vanessa Quang. The gallery was inaugurated in 2000 with the aim of promoting the contemporary art disciplines of photographs, videos, installations, etc. The gallery represents multidisciplinary artists with diverse artistic backgrounds from around the world, offering a glimpse of the current contemporary art scene in Paris and beyond.


At Unseen, GVQ - Galerie Vanessa Quang will represent the following artists at the fair: Danish photographer Nikolaj Bendix Skyum Larsen (1971) and Finnish photographers Markus Henttonen (1976). To the Unseen Collection, GVQ - Galerie Vanessa Quang will bring works by Jari Silomäki (1975), and Greek artist Lydia Venieri (1964). Don't miss a preview of Nikolaj B. S. Larsen's work on display in a solo exhibition at the gallery until Saturday 28 July. The exhibition, Promised Land, includes a video installation, several sculptures and a series of still life photographs, depicting the lives of migrants in Calais, France.

After Unseen, GVQ - Galerie Vanessa Quang will host the exhibition 
Power of the fourth Prix Pictet prizePrix Pictet is the world's leading prize in photography and sustainability. Among the twelve shortlisted photographers are American fine-art colour photographer Joel Sternfeld (1944) and South African documentary still-life photographer Guy Tillim (1962). Their work will be brought together in an award exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London, which opens on 10 October. From there, the exhibition will travel internationally and be exhibited at GVQ - Galerie Vanessa Quang in November, to coincide with Mois de la Photo-OFF and Paris Photo 2012.


GVQ - Galerie Vanessa Quang is located at 5B rue de Beauce in the Marais, Paris. The gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11am until 7pm.
