Unseen Congratulates: 2015 Foam Talents Announced

Every year, international photography magazine Foam Magazine organises a Talent Call to identify young and international talents under the age of 35. This year's Talent Call resulted in a total of 1,208 submissions from 67 different countries. The Foam Magazine Talent Issue, featuring the work of the 21 selected photographers, will be published at the end of August and will be officially presented at Unseen.

This year's talents are: Aaron Blum (US), Alessandro Calabrese (Italy), Tom Callemin (Belgium), Sara Cwynar (Canada), David Favrod (Switzerland), Dominic Hawgood (UK), Peng Guo (China), Heikki Kaski (Finland), Matthew Leifheit (US), & Cynthia Talmadge (US), Mariam Medvedeva (Russia), Abel Minnée (The Netherlands), Marton Perlaki (Hungary), Constantin Schlachter (France), Sjoerd Knibbeler (The Netherlands), Justin James Reed (US), Johan Rosenmunthe (Denmark), Jean-Vincent Simonet (France), Danila Tkachenko (Russia), Naohiro Utagawa (Japan), Christian Vium (Denmark) and Manon Wertenbroek (Switzerland).

Finnish photographer Heikki Kaski was awarded the Unseen Dummy Award at Unseen 2014 for his photobook Tranquility. Dutch photographer Sjoerd Knibbeler, who was recently awarded the Grand Prix du jury Photographie at Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography, will be represented by LhGWR at Unseen Photo Fair 2015. American photographer, writer and curator Matthew Leifheit participated in the curatorial committee of the 2014 Outset | Unseen Exhibition Fund and contributed to the first edition of the Unseen Magazine.

Foam Magazine is an international photography magazine published quarterly, co-produced by photography museum Foam and Vandejong Creative Agency. Both Unseen and Foam Magazine, especially the Talent issue, embrace exciting and emerging developments in the world of contemporary photography.
