A new series about photography and collecting will air on Dutch television in the next few weeks. The four-part series, In Sight, collecting photographs, will be a part of AVRO Kunstuur, a weekly program that highlights the latest in architecture, contemporary art and design.

The television series will feature several prominent players on the contemporary photography stage including Foam’s Deputy director Artistic Affairs Marcel Feil, Dutch photography-visual art duo Scheltens & Abbenes, up-and-coming talents Misha de Ridder and Bas Princen, and Amsterdam gallery owner Martin van Zomeren. In the first episode, you can expect appearances of the young collector Wouter van Eijkel and London-Beijing based collaboration WassinkLundgren (seen in the photograph above).

Don’t miss the first episode on Saturday 14 April on Ned 2 from 5-6pm (there is a second screening on Sunday at 10.20am on Ned 1). The remaining dates are as follows: 21 April, 28 April and 5 May. Watch these episodes online at AVRO Kunstuur.
