My images do not indicate a common ground on which we all stand in agreement. It is diversity itself – the truth of the difference and the contrast – that people experience belonging to different places. There is a persistent, blurred line between balance and disharmony, order and chaos, good and bad. My aim is to find parallels in these contrasts – to see similarity in the dissimilar – that form common ground. The work functions as a mirror of our cultural diversity and the resulting paradoxes in today’s society.
