ING Unseen Talent Award: A New Collaboration: ING and Unseen

by Unseen June 03 2015

For this year's edition of Unseen, we are excited to announce a new collaboration with ING Private Banking in the form of the ING Unseen Talent Award – a new initiative to support young talent. The award provides an international platform for new Belgian, Luxembourg and Dutch photography talent to present their work on a global scale. The final work, created by five nominated Benelux talents for the ING Collection, will be exhibited at Unseen Photo Fair 2015.

From a long list of artists proposed by a committee of photography professionals from the Benelux, ING Art Management will select five candidates. These artists will be rewarded with a coaching programme and with a commission for the ING Collection. While working on the ING Unseen Talent Programme, the selected photographers will be coached by one of the world’s leading photographers. The final work of these young talents will then be exhibited at Unseen Photo Fair in the Gashouders’ niches, giving these young artists the opportunity to introduce their work to the international art world. On the official opening night of Unseen on Thursday the 17th of September an international jury will announce the winner of the first ING Unseen Talent Award who will be given a project production fund of €10.000.
