Boetzelaer|Nispen

Boetzelaer|Nispen opened in October 2011 in Shoreditch, London. After running a successful programme for a year, showing among many others work by Michael John Whelan, Jamie Shovlin, Peter Lamb and Anouk Kruithof, the directors decided to explore new opportunities by moving the space to Amsterdam. In the Dutch capital the gallery will reopen on the De Clercqstraat in October 2012. Boetzelaer|Nispen’s focus is on those artists who transcend different media while still retaining a strong coherence in their work. The gallery aims to show the newest developments in contemporary art from the UK as well as the Netherlands. By maintaining strong relationships with institutions, curators and artists in both countries, it is in a unique position to do so. The gallery is run by Linda van Nispen tot Pannerden and Marnix van Boetzelaer.
