Monica and Geoff Dawes
In an inspiring series of videos, Unseen brings you a glimpse of collecting photography. Under the title 'A Collector's First Purchase', Unseen visits various collectors' homes to have a look at their emerging, or already extensive, collections.

In the third film of the series, Monica and Geoff Dawes share their impressive collection of photographs in their home in London. In the video, they discuss how their collection has developed since their first purchases, work by the well-known fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth (1954) and work by the upcoming talent Sohei Noshino (1982). They share their insights into collecting, the personal connection they have with the work and their thoughts on investing in contemporary photography.

Watch the other two videos in the series, those of James Wilkins and Aude de Prelle. More collecting-related posts can be found on our website. Visit the YouTube-channel of Unseen for additional videos.
